Edith E. (Musgrave) Dritschel, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Niagara Falls, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late William and Annie (Rising) Musgrave.
Edith was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She was employed at the Carborundum Company in Niagara Falls. She later worked as a nurse's aid at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the former DeVeaux Manor and St. Mary's Nursing Home. Edith was a member of the Golden Agers Club and Guild Care. Mrs. Dritschel loved being with people especially her family and friends, and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was an avid Buffalo Sabres fan, and enjoyed walking and watching figure skating on television.
Edith is survived by her five sons, Robert M. Dritschel of Niagara Falls, NY; Charles Dritschel of North Tonawanda, NY; Thomas Dritschel of Niagara Falls, NY; Kenneth Dritschel of Lackawanna, George (Ann Marie) Dritschel of Ransomville, NY and was predeceased by one daughter Beverly (Gary of Youngstown, NY) Bevilacqua. She is also survived by one grandson Justin Dritschel , and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her former husband, Robert Dritschel, one grandson Michael Berds, one sister Ethel (late Edward) Ventry, and two brothers Charles Humphrey and Fred Musgrave.
Private Funeral services and burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
