Edward J. Badiali, 82, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Edward J. and Victoria (Magno) Badiali.
Edward was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Anteium, an aircraft carrier, from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1958. He also served in the National Guard. Edward was employed at Airco Speer Carbon Graphite in Niagara Falls for more than twenty years. Prior to that he worked at Kimberly Clark Corp. for eighteen years. Ed volunteered as a boy scout leader at First Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls.
Edward is survived by his wife Cecilia (Stirrat) Badiali, one son Paul Badiali, three grandchildren Josiah, Erika and Paul II; three sisters Rose Lantz, Vera (Norman) Garrow, Pauline Dematta; one brother Robert Badiali and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother Louis Badiali.
