Edward R. "Eddie" Carlo, age 81, of Wheatfield, NY passed away December 9, 2020 while under the care of Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY Eddie was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy (Paduano) Carlo.  He attended local schools and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  A barber by trade, Eddie worked for Laborers Local 91 for thirty years until his retirement in 1999.  After his retirement, Eddie would start his day by visiting friends at local diners starting at Gigio's, followed by Knack's, then to Baldassara's Collision to meet his friends Chubby and Roger, before ending his morning at Augie's Diner.

Eddie is survived by his wife Carolyn (Zito) Carlo whom he married on Jan 22, 1983. He is also survived by his children Edward R. (Claudine) Carlo II, Peter J. (Janine) Carlo and Joanna Carlo along with his grandchildren Nicholas, Vincent, Peter John, Dominic, Gabriella and Nina.  Eddie was the brother of the late Rev. Joseph Carlo and brother-in-law to Frances (late Dick) Johnston, Frank (Penny) Zito, Dennis Zito, Nancy (Richard) Gudorf and the late Mark Zito.

Eddie's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 am from St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Site 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Everyone please assemble at church. Private burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Flowers are graciously declined.
