Edward C. Critelli, NFFD, Ret., 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on November 12, 2025 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jennie (Elia) Critelli. On September 4, 1965, he married Janice M. (Marino) Critelli, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Ed proudly served as a Firefighter with the Niagara Falls Fire Department, dedicating his career to protecting his community.  Alongside his service, he also worked at Junior's Truck Stop in Niagara Falls, NY.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Lasalle Sportsman's Club. Ed specially enjoyed vacationing in Florida, where he loved attending shows, playing cards, and golfing

In addition to his beloved wife, Janice, Ed is survived by his son, Paul R. Critelli, as well as several nieces and nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph "Jerry" Critelli.

Private funeral services and entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/ of to Niagara Hospice at www.niagarahospice.org/ .  Arrangements by M.J.
