Edward I. Hawkins, 33, of Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Born in Tonawanda, he was the beloved son of Duane and Laura (VanKoughnet) Hawkins.

Ed was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On September 4, 2021, he married the love of his life, Jacqueline (Meyer) Hawkins at Veteran's Park in North Tonawanda, NY. He was currently employed as the Assistant Manager of McDonald's in Amherst, NY, and also worked at several other locations throughout the past few years.

Ed enjoyed rollerblading, bike riding and playing Xbox. Above all, he enjoyed being with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ed is survived by his siblings, Gina Hawkins (Scott St. Pierre) and Benjamin Hawkins; his step-daughter, Alexis Jaques; his loving work family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
