Edward L. 'Len' Rivers, 86, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on October 3, 2020 at his residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Donald and Mary 'Lucy' (Newberry) Rivers.  Edward was predeceased by his wife, Sharon M. "Sherry" (McNally) Rivers on September 27, 2010.

Edward was employed as an Ironworker with Local #9 in Niagara Falls, retiring in 1995.  An avid car enthusiast, he was a member of the Mopars of Western New York and the Freewheelers.  He also enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Town of Niagara Snow Rangers.  In his younger years, Len was a Fishing Charter Captain in Lake Ontario, and also loved to golf and bowl.

Mr. Rivers is survived by his children, Keith Rivers, Kevin Rivers, Denise (David) Rey and Dana Rivers; his grandchildren, Sarah (John) Custer and Samantha Rivers, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife of 49 years, he was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Richard Rivers.

Per Edward's wishes, private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.  Arrangements by M.J.
