Eileen M. Tallerico, 94, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on November 19, 2024, at DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility in North Tonawanda, NY.  Born in Saltcoats, Scotland she was the daughter of the late James M. and Wilhemina (Brown) Wilson.

Eileen immigrated to Canada in 1948 and to the United States in 1952.  She married Peter 'Jay' Tallerico in 1951 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.  Mr. Tallerico preceded her in death on April 23, 2011.   She worked at the Imperial Bank of Canada and as a medical receptionist for Dr. Ferraro in Niagara Falls, NY.  Eileen volunteered at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, Family and Children Services, Group Support for Arthritis and was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church. Eileen sewed, crocheted, and loved to paint.  In earlier years she enjoyed spending winters in Clearwater, Florida with her husband.

Eileen is survived by her children, James (Janet) Tallerico and Diane Tallerico; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Tallerico-Cappuccino and Mary Jo (Paul) Savinsky; great grandchildren, Lauren and Parker Savinsky as well as several cousins.  She was predeceased by her brother, Alister Main.  The family wishes to express their thanks to Colleen Vail for her friendship and support.

Private services and interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial offerings may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.  Arrangements by M.J.
