Elaine S. (Soprano) Boggs, 76, of the Town of Niagara, died on Monday January 3, 2011 at home surrounded by her family while under the care of Niagara Hospice and family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Carrie (Fratello) Soprano.

Elaine was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as an office clerk for Rice and Company and Allstate Insurance Co. both in Niagara Falls, NY. Elaine bred Doberman dogs for over thirty five years and was a member of the DPCWNY (Doberman Pinscher Club of Western New York). In her leisure time she enjoyed playing games of chance.

Elaine is survived by her husband Harry Boggs, four children Kim (Stephen) Polizzi of the Town of Niagara, Christopher (Jennifer) Lofstrand of Niagara Falls, NY; Kelly (Michael) Ventry of Georgia and Kenneth (Andrea) Lofstrand of the Town of Niagara, three stepchildren Sherry (Abraham) Murillo of Miami, FL; Scott Boggs of Key Largo, FL and Craig (Michelle) Boggs of Niagara Falls, NY; five grandchildren Lauren Polizzi, Jake Polizzi, Michael Ventry, Danielle Ventry and Christopher Lofstrand II, six step grandchildren Ryan Boggs, Alecia Boggs, Angela Fernandez, Nick Tedesco, Anthony Garito and Michael Garito, four great grandchildren, one sister Linda Fay and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Shirley Ann Batrouny.

Friends may call on Thursday January 6th from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Michael Burzynski PhD. officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
