Eleanor Wisneski, 97, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Tonawanda, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Cirillo and Rosalia (Sannicolo) Maule. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph S. Wisneski, who predeceased her on September 2, 1992.

A 1948 graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Eleanor went on to build a long and respected career in Quality Control with the Globar Division of Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls, where she worked until her retirement.

Eleanor’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, Donna (late Peter) Armstrong and Joseph (Yolanda) Wisneski; her grandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth, Eric, Jerry (Valerie), and Jason; and her great‑grandchildren, Ellis and Jack. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Eleanor was predeceased by her son, Jerry Wisneski, and her siblings, Aida Dawson, Amalia (late Nick) Czyhura, Lena (late Mario “Bo”) Campana, and Wilbert (late Dolores) Maule.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, from 10 AM – 12 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will follow at 12 PM.
