Eli J. Moses, Jr., 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Eli J., Sr. and Reta E. (Deline) Moses Villani.

Known as Cookie or Junior to his friends and family, Eli was a graduate of LaSalle Senior High School. Throughout his life, he pursued a career in sales and various independent business ventures. He had a lifelong love of sports, as a youth he excelled in hockey, and later enjoyed playing tennis and golf, but he was happiest watching and wagering on football and basketball. He also loved games of chance and was an avid card player, especially poker.

Eli is survived by his children, Marc (Angel) Moses, Brock (Kori) Moses and Nicole (George) Leppert; and his cherished grandchildren, Olivia Moses, Kayla Moses, Brennan Moses, Lauren Leppert, Addison Leppert, William Leppert and Sophie Leppert.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 12 Noon.
