Elizabeth "Betty" (DeLorenzo) Pavone, 101, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Friday October 9, 2009 at Fairchild Manor in Lewiston, NY. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Theresa (Gaetano) DeLorenzo.

Born in Niagara Falls, she attended local schools. Betty worked for her family's tobacco store on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY from the mid 1930's until the 1950's. She was a former member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America and enjoyed playing bocce.

Survivors include husband John Pavone, her son Frank P. (Margaret) Mirabelli of Lewiston, NY; three granddaughters Deborah (Nels) Magnuson of Syracuse, NY, Sandra Mirabelli and Candice Duffy, both of Lewiston, NY; four great grandchildren Marina Magnuson, Eric Magnuson, Matthew Duffy, Margaret Duffy and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betty was predeceased by a sister Mary (late Peter) Antonucci and two brothers Frank (late Thelma) DeLorenzo and Vincent (late Argy) DeLorenzo.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday October 14th at 10 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center St. Lewiston with Rev Sebastian C. Pierro, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
