Elizabeth A. Stocker, 63, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2020 at her home in Niagara Falls NY after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born February 6, 1957 in Georgetown, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Joann (Powell) Creel.

Elizabeth, affectionately known as Libby, Mama, and Mema, was raised in the Holiness Church and remained a spiritual woman who donated to many charities and was an avid supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement among others.   She was employed as an activity aide at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY as well as an over the road mail truck driver.

She had a personality that brightened any room she entered and she was able to quickly become friends with almost anyone she encountered. She will be intensely missed by everyone.

Elizabeth leaves behind her partner of 17 years, Yvonne Stocker; her daughters, Melissa McLaughlin (Jeremy Clemons) of Effingham SC, Frances Watford of Niagara Falls NY; her 2 step children, Maximilian Stocker (Sarah Welstead) of Etobicoke, Ontario and Laura (Rob) Bright of Hampton, Nova Scotia. Elizabeth stated quite often that her proudest achievements are her 6 grandchildren; Preston, DJ, Caralina, Fiona, Elijah and Maxton.  In addition, she is survived by her two younger brothers Thomas L. Creel and Michael K. (W. Michelle) Creel.

Elizabeth was lovingly known as "mama" to many who met her over the years. This is especially true of her friends turned family Joe, Gina and Isabella Montie of Niagara Falls. Her Niece and nephew Logan and Alex Creel whom she shared a close relationship also called her Mema.  Elizabeth is also survived by a host of cousins who she considered more brothers and sisters rather than cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Bobby J. Creel.
