Ella F. Guetta, 104, formerly of Heritage Manor assisted living facility in Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday February 14, 2009 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Naples, Italy she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Giovanina (Amato) Guetta.

Ella moved to Niagara Falls, NY with her family when she was a child, and attended local schools. She began working at her brother Carmen's jewelry store, the former Colucci's Jewelers, on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY. Ella also worked as a sales clerk at JC Penney's and at Beir Brothers Department Store in Niagara Falls, NY and later was the manager of the former Muscarella's Cleaners, also in Niagara Falls, NY. She was a member of the Niagara Community Action Program (NiaCAP) in Niagara Falls, NY. Ella enjoyed knitting and created many afghans for her family. She always spoke of the love she had for her three brothers and their families.

Survivors include her niece Josephine (late Anthony) Guetta and family and her nephew Joseph (late Bonnie) Guetta and family as well as several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Ella was predeceased by her three brothers Carmen (late Christine) Guetta, Salvatore Guetta, and Ralph (late Mary) Guetta.

Friends may call on Tuesday February 17, 2009 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will immediately follow at 10:30 AM with the Rev. Stewart Lindsay OSFS, officiating. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
