Elmo Giammarco, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 18, 2026 at his residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Orlando “Berardino” and Laura “Annetta” (Mascio) Giammarco. He was also the cherished grandson of the late Gaetano Sicilfrito and Anna (Ventresca) Giammarco, and the late Giuseppe and Bambina (D’Angelis) Mascio.

Elmo had a joyful spirit and a warm, fun‑loving personality. He loved music and singing, was an enthusiastic Mickey Mouse fan, and enjoyed visiting Niagara Falls State Park, where he spent many days walking and taking in the beauty of the area. He was also known for his fondness for Pepsi and his wonderful sense of humor, which brought smiles to those around him.

Elmo is survived by his loving sister, Teresa Giammarco, as well as many devoted cousins, caretakers, and friends who will deeply miss him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, from 9:15 – 10:15 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where prayers will begin at 10:15 AM, followed by a committal service and entombment at 11 AM in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 3806 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
