Elpina P. Leone, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, died peacefully Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones.  Elpina (Marinello) Leone was the beloved wife of 70 years, of the late Dr. Casmer E. Leone. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Elpina was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ermina (Ilario) Marinello, of Niagara Falls, NY.

Elpina Leone is survived by 7 children: Marilyn (Bernard) Santa Maria of Atlanta GA; Karen (David) Jamarusty of Ithaca, NY; Richard (Melba Tarlton) Leone of Charlotte, NC; Janis Leone of Cobourg, Ontario; Thomas Leone of San Diego, CA; Michael (Kathleen) Leone of Wilmington, NC; and Ronald Leone of Columbia MO.

In addition, Elpina was dearly loved and admired by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Elpina was predeceased by one brother and one sister; Leo (late Pat) Marinello; and Connie (late Jim) Riggi.

There will be no prior visitation.  The family will receive friends and family at St. Raphael's Church, 3840 Macklem Ave, Niagara Falls, NY on Saturday, January 6th, where a Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.

A reception will be held in Elpina's honor, for anyone who wishes to attend, at the Como Restaurant, 2220 Pine Ave, Niagara Falls, NY following the interment.
