Emma M. (Urbanski) Nasca, 74 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday September 22, 2010 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Phillipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha (Drubnak) Urbanski.
Mrs. Nasca was educated in Phillipsburg, PA and married Anthony R. Nasca (NFFD Ret.)on August 6, 1955 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Niagara Falls, NY. During the 1950's, she was employed at the former Neisner's Department Store, and from the 1960's through 1970's, she worked as a waitress at Mom's Coffee Shop both in Niagara Falls, NY. Emma was a member of the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society, the Italian Sons and Daughter's of America Cataract Lodge #240, and a Charter Member of the Fichte Eye Center Focus Group. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed photography.
In addition to her husband of fifty five years, Mrs. Nasca is survived by two daughters, Theresa A. (Dennis) Lloyd and Donna M. (John) Hallenbeck both of Charlotte, NC, six grandchildren, Jayson (Kasey) Lloyd, Rachael Lloyd, Katherine 'Katie' Hallenbeck, Sarah Hallenbeck, Julie Hallenbeck and Matthew Hallenbeck, one great-granddaughter Chelsea Lloyd, one brother James (Bernice) Urbanski of Emporium, PA, one sister Anna (late Calvin) Brown of Plymouth, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother Robert(Maude) Urbanski, PhD and two sisters Mary (late Jim)Mahoney and Helen Flood.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday September 25th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
