Emma (Zuccari) Siracuse, 94 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday December 22, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family under the care Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Francesca (D'Angelo) Zuccari.

Emma was raised on a Dairy farm and daily walked five miles where she was educated in a one-room schoolhouse. On June 23, 1937 she married Joseph Siracuse at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Siracuse predeceased her on October 7, 1993. Emma was a member of the former Century Club. She was a homemaker who specialized in homemade bread, pizza, sausage and pastas. Emma also crocheted afghans and dollies for her loved ones. She was energetic and hardworking and it showed in her lavish flower garden. She also took great pride in growing her flowers, reading and playing cards. Emma's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Mrs. Siracuse is survived by one daughter Rosalie (Joseph) DiPofi of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren Tina (Donald) Jacobs and Michael (Tian) DiPofi, two great grandchildren Joseph Jacobs and Leah Jacobs, one sister Paula (late Mario) Cortellini of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother Mario (late Elia) Zuccari and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister Paradisa (late Luigi) Eugeni and two brothers Louis (late Marie) Zuccari and Frank (late Teresa) Zuccari.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday December 28th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
