Estelle B. Porreca, 88, passed away Friday September 20, 2013 at Elderwood Health Care Facility at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Brusino and Stephania (Sheusi) Brusino Ciluzzi and step-daughter of the late Frank Ciluzzi.

Estelle attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. During World War II, she worked at Bell Aircraft in Wheatfield, NY and later at Kresge's and Figler's Dry Cleaners, and as a salesclerk for Grant's Department Store and Jenss Department Store, all in Niagara Falls, NY. On September 14, 1946 she married John A. Porreca in St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Estelle and her husband operated the Midway Motel in Niagara Falls, NY for many years during the 1960's. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the LaSalle Little League and LaSalle Babe Ruth League in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. and Mrs. Porreca were two of the principal founding members of Heart, Love, and Soul Ministries and members of the former Sacred Heart Prayer Group in Niagara Falls, NY. In her leisure, Estelle enjoyed making ceramics at home.

In addition to her husband of sixty-seven years, she is survived by three children, Domenick (Kim) Porreca of Parrish, FL, Patricia (Paul) Birmingham of Niagara Falls, NY, and Frank (Michele) Porreca of Pendleton, NY. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph (Karen of Odessa, FL) Porreca and infant daughter, Kathleen Porreca. Estelle is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Alicia (Dan) Wiley, Stephanie Lizotte, Jodi (Dan) Meissner, Adam (Susan) Porreca, Melissa (Michael) McCarriagher, Frank (Danielle) Birmingham, John Birmingham, Christine Birmingham, Kaitlyn (Jon) Burow, Alison (Steve) Aitchison, and Charles Porreca; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Helen) Brusino of Seviereville, TN and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Nicholas (late Marlene) Brusino.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7 -9 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 25th at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
