Esther J. (Stallone) Peterson, 85, formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away on September 25, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Rose (Cirillo) Stallone.

Esther attended local Buffalo schools and graduated from East High School. Esther was well known wedding planner in the area and worked as a bridal consultant and sales associate at Macy's Department Store in Amherst. Esther was a devout Catholic and especially devoted to St. Padre Pio, Our Lady of Fatima and the Blessed Mother. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening. But most of all, Esther was a loving and dedicated, mother, sister and aunt.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by one daughter, Mary Beth (Mario) Quaglia of Lewiston, NY and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her husband Gordon L. Peterson, sisters Angeline Schmidt, Lee D'Agostino and a brother Vincent 'Jim' Stallone.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 30th at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment at the convenience of the family in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
