Eva Bernice DeLuke, 87, of Lewiston, NY, died on Monday, May 20, 2013, at her residence. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Pearl (Gibbs) Stevens.

Eva was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On March 21, 1945, she married Anthony J. DeLuke at St. John de LaSalle Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Eva had a passion for ceramics which she did in her own studio in the basement of her home. She also liked to do oil painting, cross stitching and play bingo. Eva was a talented seamstress and expert cook as well. Eva, along with her husband Anthony, enjoyed traveling and were proud of their accomplishment to visit all of the states. She will be remembered most by her husband as the "love of his life."

In addition to her husband of 68 years, Eva is survived by five children, Suzanne DeLuke of Niagara-Wheatfield, NY, Christine (Thomas) Hafner of Syracuse, NY, Anthony (Karen) DeLuke of Lewiston, NY, Martin (Gail) DeLuke of Camas, WA, David (Dana) DeLuke of Niagara-Wheatfield, NY, and was predeceased by a son, Rodney. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren; three brothers, Herman (late Geraldine) Stevens, George (Ada) Stevens and Clarence (Eileen) Stevens; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by six siblings, Lester Stevens, Harold (Francis) Stevens, Almond (Pearl) Stevens, David (late Florence) Stevens, Mabel Stevens and Frederick (Kathleen) Stevens.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23rd from 11-1:00 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Ste. 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
