Eva E. Morreale, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017. Born in Poggio Picenze, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Ricardo and Fausta (Rosa) Rainaldi.

Eva graduated from high school in Italy and immigrated to the United States with her brother, Camillo, at the age of 20. She attended night classes at Niagara Falls High School where she learned English as a second language and became a U.S. Citizen. On June 12, 1954, she married her cherished husband, Peter R. Morreale, Jr., at St. Joseph Church. They spent 48 wonderful years together prior to his passing on August 8, 2002.

Eva was employed for many years as a Teacher's Aide for the Niagara Falls Board of Education until her retirement in 2000. She also served as a Girl Scout sewing instructor. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing custom dresses.

Above all, Eva's life was centered around her loving family. She enjoyed hosting and cooking for family gatherings; and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Eva is survived by her daughters, Debra (Dr. Timothy) Osberg, Diana (Robert) DiBiase and Donna (Benjamin) Baia; grandchildren, John and Erika Osberg, Robert, Peter and Andrew DiBiase, and Benjamin and Cristiana Baia. She is also survived by her nephews, Peter (Toni) Morreale, Charles (Janice) Morreale and Peter J. (Grace) Morreale; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Amedeo (late Eda) Rainaldi Camillo (Anna) Rainaldi and Foscarina (late Tito) Urbani; and her brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Paul (late Angie) Morreale, Michael Morreale, John (late Maria) Morreale and Anna (late Danny) Santiago.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 11:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, at 12 Noon. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
