Evelyn R. (Risio) Bishop, 98 of Port Charlotte, FL formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday August 13, 2010 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Lackawanna, NY she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Nancy (Speranzo) Risio.

A resident of Florida for over forty years, Evelyn was raised and educated in Niagara Falls, NY. During World War II, she worked at Bell Aircraft Company in Wheatfield, NY. Afterwards, Evelyn went on to work at Hotel Niagara, Niagara University, the former Levy Brothers, and the Niagara Falls Board of Education. Evelyn loved children and took great pleasure in spending with her nieces and nephews. She also had a love for animals and enjoyed working on puzzles.

Mrs. Bishop was predeceased by her husband Francis Bishop in 1988. She is survived by one sister Mafalda (Edward) Danielewicz of Niagara Falls, NY and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by three sisters and two brothers, Mary (late Anthony) Marinelli, John (late Anna) Risio, Pauline (late John) Rufran, Elvira (late Clarence) DeLong and Joseph Risio.
