Evelyn C. D'Amico, 84, of Tequesta, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Adam Wakunick and Mary (Pylypiw-Wakunick) Robert.

Evelyn was a lifelong homemaker who took excellent care of her family. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Louis "Red" D'Amico, and her loving daughter, LuAnn. She is survived by her five children, Larry (Andrea) D'Amico of Rochester, NY, David D'Amico of Lewiston, NY, Robert D'Amico of Virginia Beach, VA, Donna D'Amico of Niagara Falls, NY and Phillip (Barbara) D'Amico of Jupiter, FL; eleven grandchildren, Marc (Beth), Anna and Michelle D'Amico, KariAnn D'Amico, Deanna (Sean) Purdy, Antoinette Paonessa, Carrie Lee D'Amico, Michael Paonessa, and Cierra, Devin and Jelina D'Amico; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Kayla Templeton, Emma and Nora Purdy and Dominic Paonessa. She is also survived by her sister, Sylvia Zabaldo, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5 ^th from 1 – 4 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Trustbridge Health, in memory of Evelyn, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
