Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Felix J. Coniglio 78, of Niagara Falls, NY died Saturday May 9, 2009 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Dansville, NY he was the son of the late Joseph and Grace (Miceli) Coniglio. Loving husband of 29 years to Mary A. (Suhansky) Coniglio.

Felix served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. He was a lifelong New York State Licensed Optician and owned Bradt Optical in Buffalo, NY for twenty years before retiring in the mid 1990's During his spare time, Felix enjoyed photography, computers and was an avid amateur radio operator (KA2JVY) but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

Felix is survived by 4 children, Susan M. (Harry) Arader of Chicago, IL; Richard M. (Santa) Coniglio of Tonawanda, NY; James J. (Linda) Coniglio of Boston, NY and Mary Grace Coniglio of Boston, MA. 4 grandchildren, Samuel Coniglio, Francesca Coniglio, Amanda Branham and Kimberly Coniglio. Felix was predeceased by a sister Josephine Coniglio Macaluso. He was the brother-in-law of Margaret and George Morreale of Niagara Falls, NY. Survivors also include aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a dear family friend Dr. Ruben Cartagena of Williamsville, NY.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6 – 8pm at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a Memorial service will immediately follow at 8pm.
