Fred Cipollitti, 82, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Prezza, Pr. L'Aquila, Italy, he was the son of Ini Cipollitti, who died in WWII & Domenica DiGregorio and John DiGregorio.

A butcher by trade, he owned local businesses in Niagara Falls, NY, and was an avid horse racing enthusiast. Most importantly, he greatly enjoyed the company of his children: Jennifer (late Carmen) Caggiano, Joanna (Dr. Michael) Merletti and John Ini (Heather) Cipollitti.

Fred's greatest joy was his grandchildren: Carmen III and Charon Caggiano, Catherine and Lauren Merletti, and Ben Fernando and Anna Cipollitti.

He is also survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Stella Mele Cipollitti and his siblings: Dante (Donna) Cipollitti, Antonio (Theresa) DiGregorio, Flora (Gregg) Travis, MaryAnn (late Michael) DiGregorio, Joanne (Marc) Merino, and Ricardo DiGregorio.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers PFC Joseph "Peppy" DiGregorio, Roberto DiGregorio, his father-in-law Peter Mele, his son-in-law Carmen Caggiano, Jr., and his sister-in-law Sharon Brinda.

Visitation will be held from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 24 at Holy Family Parish @ St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Ave, N.F, N.Y. 14301. Fred's Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon.

Interment is private at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
