Fernando J. DeRubeis, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of Fernando DeRubeis and the late Nellie (Corsini) DeRubeis.

Fernando was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, where he graduated from Bishop Duffy High School and was a longtime parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church. He was employed by Niagara Development & Manufacturing as the Operations Manager until his retirement.

Fernando was an avid bowler, golfer and passionate fan of the New York Yankees. He also loved his horses and ran them in numerous races over the years. Above all, Fernando enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

In addition to his father, Fernando is survived by his children, Nina DeRubeis and Fernando A. "Fred" (Stephanie) DeRubeis; his grandchildren, Anthony and Tyler DeRubeis; his beloved cousin, who was like a brother, Silvio (Francine) DeRubeis and their children, Silvio DeRubeis III (fiancé Becky) and Maria Knoebel (fiancé Scott); as well as Maria's children, Olivia and Gabriella. Fernando is also survived by his uncle, Silvio (Marcia) DeRubeis and his former wife, Sharon (Gil) Paul.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 10 from 4 -7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Fernando's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 AM in Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27 ^th Street and Independence Avenue Niagara Falls, NY.
