Fleurette "Flo" Kajdasz, 87, of Youngstown, NY, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 5, 2018 at Buffalo Mercy Hospital. Born in D'Arnfield, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Florine (Dussault) Racine.

Flo came to the United States as a child with her family and attended local schools. She married her loving husband, Walter "Lefty" Kajdasz, Sr., on October 25, 1952. Lefty passed away on December 27, 2011 after 59 cherished years together. Flo worked in the food service department at Niagara University for many years prior to her retirement in 2013. She was a talented seamstress and hairstylist for her family and friends. Flo was also an avid reader and always enjoyed a good game of Scrabble. Above all, Flo enjoyed spending time with her family at weekly luncheons and gatherings.

Mrs. Kajdasz is survived by her children, Walter R. (Karen) Kajdasz, Jr., and Kerry J. (Diane) Kajdasz; she was memere to her granddaughters, Ashley and Maria Kajdasz; loving sister of Henriette (late Bill) Davidson and Roseanne (late Ed) Butski; and also survived as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friend Joanne. She was predeceased by two siblings, Florent "Babe" (Mary) Racine and Angela (Thomas, Sr.) Arist

There will be no prior visitation. Flo's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 8 ^th at 11 A.M. in St. Bernard's Church, 218 Hinman St., Youngstown, NY. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance Fund, 625 Third Street, Youngstown, NY 14174. Arrangements by M.J.
