Florence M. Bolton, 90, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on April 26, 2022 at Wheatfield Commons under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Welland, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Jean (Marois) Stevens.

Florence came to the United States in 1950.  In 1951, Florence married Gordon J. Bolton at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mr. Bolton predeceased her on December 28, 2019. She was employed with Nabisco Shredded Wheat and Carborundum.  Florence enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casino, and walking the mall daily.  She also enjoyed attending functions with her husband at the Moose Lodge and American Legion.  Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Florence is survived by her children, Linda (Patrick) Mullen and Larry (Debra) Bolton; her grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) Mullen, Jeffrey (Kristen) Mullen, Jennifer Mullen, and Paul (Amy) Bolton; her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Joseph, Skye, and Alani, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 68 years, she was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Stevens.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the Staff at Wheatfield Commons and Niagara Hospice, as well as a special thank you her nurses, Melissa, April and Jodie Neadow, and for their devoted care and compassion.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2 from 3 – 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Florence's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston NY.  Flowers are graciously declined.
