Florence L. (Lavigueur) Nudo, 81, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Odd Fellow Rebekah Nursing Rehab and Health Care Center in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Rose (LaCroix) Lavigueur.

Florence attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On November 26, 1959 she married Eugene J. Nudo, Jr. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Nudo predeceased her on December 21, 2002. Florence was employed at the former Permanent Savings Bank and later worked in the Medical Records Department at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. She was a long time member of Prince of Peace church as well as their Altar and Rosary Society. Most of all, Florence loved being her family's caregiver.

Florence is survived by two daughters Theresa (Peter) Pennesi and Mary (Thomas) Zimmerman, and was predeceased by one daughter Jean Morreale. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Erica and Hayley Pennesi, Charles Zimmerman and Sam Morreale, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings Clarence (late Angie) Lavigueur, Shirley Pectal,and Leonard (late Chris) Lavigueur.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Everyone is invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
