Florence (Montagna) Palazzo, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday July 1, 2011at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Diego and Giovanni (D'Amico) Montagna.
Florence was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. Florence devoted her life to her family and being a homemaker.
Mrs. Palazzo was predeceased by her husband Gene A. Palazzo on March 22, 2009. She is survived by her two sons Richard Palazzo and John Palazzo both of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren, Paul Palazzo, Lori Palazzo, Marcus (Michelle) Palazzo and Jason (Carla) Palazzo, four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by four brothers, Tony Montagna, Samuel Montagna, Charles Montagna and William Montagna and one sister Grace Bruccolieri.
There will be no visitation. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094.
