Franca (Fiore) Cardamone, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Born in Spezzano, Piccolo, Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Fortunata (Pollilo) Fiore.

Franca was educated in Italy and on January 18, 1959 she married Carmine Cardamone in Spezzano, Piccolo, Calabria, Italy. In 1970 she and her husband immigrated to the United States and settled in Niagara Falls where she lived until the present time. Franca loved to play Bingo, walk and cook. Although her greatest accomplishment was her family and she centered her life on them.

In addition to her husband of fifty four years, Mrs. Cardamone is survived by three children Tina (Jeffrey) Davis of the Town of Niagara; Sero (Carry) Cardamone of Freehold, NJ and Robert (Sarah) Cardamone of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren Stephanie Cardamone, Nicholas Cardamone, Gracie Cardamone and Emily Peppard, her sisters and brother Irene (late Giuseppe) D'Ambrosio of Stony Creek, Ontario, Canada; Clara (late Anthony) Mascaro of Lewiston, NY; Salvatore Fiore of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and Teresa Guiliani of Buffalo, NY; her brothers- and sisters-in-law Gabriela (late William) LaCava of Philadelphia, PA; Enrico (Mary) Cardamone of Lewiston, NY; Ada (Peter) Cannistraci of Philadelphia, PA and Paul (Linda) Cardamone of Erial, NJ and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters Assunta (late Antonio) Madia and Teresa Fiore and one nephew Gino D'Ambrosio.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Monday September 9th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls.
