Frances I. (Badolato) Arone, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY.  Born in Walston, PA she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jennie (Caterisano) Badolato.


Frances came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family and attended local schools.  On April 24, 1940 she married Pasquale A. 'Pat" Arone at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mr. Arone predeceased  her on June 19, 1992.  Frances was a member of  the Altar and Rosary and Legion of Mary Societies at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and the Cristoforo Colombo Ladies Auxillary in Niagara Falls, NY.  She was an avid reader and when she was younger she enjoyed bowling.  Frances also liked crocheting and cooking but most of all she loved spending time with her family.


Mrs. Arone is survived by one daughter Ann Marie Agnello of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by one son Robert Arone.  She is also survived by two grandchildren Robert (Katie) Agnello of Grand Island, NY and Marc (Kathleen) Agnello of Alfred, NY; five great grandchildren  Rebecca and Gabriel Agnello and Faith, Emily and Anna Agnello, one sister Ann (late Frank) DeFazio of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother Eugene (late Carol 'Carrie') Badolato and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by one sister Rachael (late Harvey) Wakley and one brother Anthony (late Santina) Badolato.


Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Friday August 31st at 11 a.m. with Rev.  Robert Stolinski officiating.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
