Frances A. (Spadorcia) Cassano, 80, of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Papa) Spadorcia.

Frances came to Niagara Falls in 1941 as a child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On June 13, 1959 she married Samuel W. Cassano, Sr. at Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Cassano predeceased her on June 26, 2005 after forty seven years of marriage.

Frances is survived by two children Mary Anne Kyle of Niagara Falls, NY and Samuel (Mary Sharon Murphy) Cassano, Jr. of Lewiston, NY; two grandchildren Faith Rose Kyle and Samson Kyle and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by an infant son Anthony John Cassano and one brother Vincent (Sue of Niagara Falls, NY) Spadorcia.

There will be no prior visitation. Private services and entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in memory of Samuel and Frances Cassano, Sr. to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 will be gratefully appreciated.
