Frances DeFranco, 91, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Constance (DeMartino) DeFranco.

Frances started her career in retail sales and later owned the Star Gift Shop located at Pine Avenue and 21st Street in Niagara Falls, NY. She retired from General Motors in Lockport, NY.

Frances was a member of the Sodality of Mary at St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed attending Niagara University basketball games. Above all Frances was devoted to her Catholic faith and her beloved family.

Frances is survived by her siblings, James (Zora) DeFranco, Murry (Angela) DeFranco and Marie (late Frank) Jemiolo and (late Anthony Marotta). Survivors also include many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY on Friday, February 16th at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, 5300 Military Road, Lewiston, NY 14092. Arrangements by M.J.
