Frances T. (Giannone) Jamgochian, 76 of Niagara Falls, NY died on Monday September 13, 2010 at N. F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo "Vincent" and Carmella (Fantauzzo) Giannone.
Franny, as she was known to family and friends, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She worked at the former Welsley Shop in the receiving department and later by Niagara Frontier Services Tops Markets as the office manager for twenty years of B-Kwik, both in Niagara Falls. Franny, together with her son, also co-owned Fran's Submarines on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls and later the My Pie Pizza Franchise located in the Lockport NY Mall. Franny was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid bowler who participated in various city leagues and once held the distinction of bowling the city's high game for women. Franny also enjoyed roller skating, ice skating and figure skating.
Franny is survived by two children Deborah (John R.) Signorelli and Steven M. (Margaret) Jamgochian both of Niagara Falls, NY; five grandchildren Stephanie Signorelli, Nicole Signorelli, John D. Signorelli, Steven P. Jamgochian and Dominic M. Jamgochian, one brother Anthony (Linda) Giannone of Niagara Falls, NY; three sisters Rosemary (Basil) Hayes of Tampa, FL; Sarah Giannone of Niagara Falls, NY and Carmella "Connie" (Bill "Farmer") Bresko of the Town of Niagara. She was predeceased by three sisters Florence (late Roger) Monfort, Antoinette (James of North Carolina) Vance and Jennie (late John) Alfiere.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY
