Frances C. Malvestuto, 97, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 27, 2024, at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Chapetta) Falcone.

Frances was educated in Pennsylvania and came to Niagara Falls when she was 16 years old.  On September 20, 1947, she married James J. Malvestuto, Sr. in Pennsylvania.  Mr. Malvestuto predeceased her on February 8, 1980.  Frances was employed as a waitress at the Colonial Tea Room in Niagara Falls, and later worked at Nabisco Shredded Wheat as a Packer and in Quality Assurance for 10 years, before returning to waitressing at the Treadway for 12 years.  She was a longtime member of St. John de LaSalle Church.  Frances enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.  More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Frances is survived by her children, Cynthia Biamonte, Dino Malvestuto, and Jill (Michael) Hansen; her grandchildren, Gina (Corbin) Roe, Philip (Erica) Biamonte, Emily (William) Mark, Maria (fiancé Will Rajczak) Hansen, Julianna Hansen (John Otto), Natalie Hansen, Michael (Amanda) Hansen, and David (Jasmyn) Hansen; her great-grandchildren, Vincenzo Roe, Dominic Roe, Everly Mark, Gianna Hansen, Joey Hansen, Anthony Biamonte, Allyson Biamonte, and Anna Biamonte, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 32 years, she was sadly predeceased by her son, James Malvestuto, Jr., and her siblings, Fred (late Anne) Falcone, Frank (late Esther) Falcone, Gabriel Falcone, Louis (late Marge) Falcone, Josephine (late Vincenzo) Meme, and Devina (late Joseph) Calabrese.

Frances' Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 31 at 10 AM at St. John de LaSalle Church, 8477 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, https://www.niagarahospice.org/.  Arrangements by M.J.
