Francesco 'Frank' Fusarelli, 92, of Lewiston, New York, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Born in Luco dei Marsi, Province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy on January 29, 1931, he was the son of the late Biagio and Erminia (Martini) Fusarelli.

Frank was raised in Italy and moved to Thorold, Ontario in 1954. On October 11, 1958, he married his beloved wife Geraldine (Bove) Fusarelli in Niagara Falls, Ontario before moving to Niagara Falls, New York to start their life together.

Frank was employed at Occidental Chemical Company for many years prior to his retirement. He also owned several rental homes throughout Niagara Falls and worked tirelessly to renovate and maintain them.

A jack of all trades and true handyman, Frank could build or fix just about anything. He enjoyed helping his family and friends with any task at hand. He also loved tending to his vegetable garden, making wine, and sharing the fruits of his labor with his family, friends and even strangers.

Though known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Frank will be best remembered for his selflessness. Above all, he will be remembered by his family for his unwavering commitment to being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, Frank is also survived by his children, Anna Marie (Joseph) DeLuca, Ernesto (Oksana) Fusarelli and Lucy DiRienzo; his adored grandchildren, Dr. Ashley DeLuca, Angela (Frank) Stanisz, Anthony Loretto Fusarelli and Francesco DiRienzo; his siblings, Annuziata Fusarelli Giradini, Pieriena Fusarelli D'Alo and Dino Fusarelli;  sister-in-law Nancy Bove; and his many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his siblings, Vineenzo Fusarelli, Guido Fusarelli (1923), Domenica Fusarelli, Concetto Fusarelli, Maria Fusarelli Crescenzi, Natalina Fusarelli, Domenico Fusarelli, Guido Fusarelli (1938), Antonio Fusarelli; and Brother-in-law Andrew Bove.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:45 AM, followed by Frank's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
