Francis J. "Frank" Rogers, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Born at home in the Town of Niagara, NY he was the son of the late John F. and Johanna (Geraghty) Rogers.

Frank attended local schools and lived in the Niagara Falls area for the majority of his life. Frank served in the United States Air Force as Airman Second Class from February 17, 1953 until his honorable discharge on March 15, 1957. On April 25, 1964 he married Dorothy J. (Dahlgren) Rogers in Niagara Falls, NY. He was employed as a chemical operator at Durez Chemical in Niagara Falls, NY for twenty-seven years until his retirement in 1999. In his leisure, Frank enjoyed watching television.

In addition to his wife of forty-five years, Frank is survived by three sons Kevin Rogers, Brian Rogers, and Mark (Bonnie) Rogers all of Niagara Falls, NY; one grandson Noah Rogers, one sister Patricia (late Eugene) Sembert of the Town of Niagara, NY and several nieces and nephews. He was the son-in-law of Margaret (late Harold) Dahlgren of Niagara Falls, NY. Frank was predeceased by a son Sean Rogers; three brothers Bernard (Betty of Youngstown, NY) Rogers, William Rogers, John Rogers and two sisters Carol Poirier and Deloris Rogers.

Friends may call on Saturday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. Private interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
