Frank J. Chiasera, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 6, 2025, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Tonawanda, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James and Lillian (Wosciehowski) Chiasera, and the husband of the late Gloria (Rey) Chiasera, who predeceased him on August 16, 2024. Frank and Gloria were married for 65 loving years.
Frank was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1962, and then in the National Guard until his honorable discharge in 1969. Frank was employed as a Pressman for various firms, including Colorforms and Graphic Controls, and later owned his own printing shop in Kenmore, NY, until his retirement in 1999. After retirement, he worked for 19 years at Beaver Island Golf Course in Grand Island, NY.
Frank loved to chat and easily made friends wherever he went. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed watching sports. His favorite team was the Buffalo Bills. Most of all, Frank cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He attended every sporting event of theirs he could; he was their biggest supporter and #1 fan.
Frank is survived by his children, Laura L. (Joseph) Nuttle, Sandra A. (Wayne) Wylucki and Frank A. (Dawn) Chiasera; his grandchildren Joseph Nuttle, Matthew Nuttle, Stephanie Nuttle, Nicholas (Briana) Wylucki, Jessica (Michael) Ferchen, Taylor Chiasera, Reilly Chiasera, and Sommer Chiasera; a great-granddaughter, Michelena Wylucki; his siblings, Marcia (Mario) Neri and James (Virginia 'Gina') Chiasera, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, he was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Chiasera.
Funeral services were privately held for the family with Military Honors and Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
