Frank J. D'Angelo, 87 a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018 at Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born January 14, 1931 in Cerda, Sicily, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Giuseppina (LaTona) D'Angelo.

Frank was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 18.  Frank was a Master Tailor and worked his career at Wake's Men Shop until his retirement.  You could later always find him working alongside his brother Joseph D'Angelo at Time Cleaners.  Everyone knew Frank. He was a longtime active member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and was the recipient their Man of Year Award.  Some of his favorite hobbies were, hunting, fishing and gardening.  All his friends and family would enjoy his wonderful cooking after his trips to his cabin in Greenwood, NY where he would always bring home venison to share.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Marian (Silvaggi) D'Angelo, three children, JoAnne D'Angelo, Vincent P. (Lijun) D'Angelo and Salvatore F. (Jian) D'Angelo, seven grandchildren, Alexandra, Joseph, Frank, Vittoria, Peiran, Yifan and Leo, two great-grandchildren, Braven and Vanessa, his brother Joseph (late Kay) D'Angelo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Leo (late Lucy) D'Angelo, Dominic (Phyllis) D'Angelo and Salvatore D'Angelo.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 1 ^st at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 27 ^th Street and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls.  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.  If desired memorials may be made to the Cristoforo Colombo Society 2223 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
