Frank A. Mannarino, 78, loving husband, Dad and Papa, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Niagara Hospice, Lockport, NY with loved ones at his side.
He was born on December 29, 1937 to the late Frank and Artenza (Castiglione) Mannarino in Niagara Falls,NY. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Louise (Martinucci) Mannarino; sons Christopher (Sherrie) Mannarino and Frank D. (Terri) Mannarino. He is also survived by sisters Ann (late Ernest) Kuchenbecker and Deborah (Richard) Weber, brother-in-law Donald (Donna) Martinucci; grandchildren Sean Mannarino, Jennifer Letourneau, Elizabeth Mannarino and Benjamin Mannarino; and great-grandsons Nathan and Alexander Letourneau. Other survivors include aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank was predeceased by his father-and-mother-in-law Nini and Lena (Venturelli) Martinucci and four nephews.
Frank attended local schools and retired from the Niagara Falls Board of Education in 1995 as New Construction Manager. He was an avid reader, especially of world history and enjoyed classical and jazz music. Above all, his ultimate joy came from sharing time with his loving family.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Raphael Church, 3840 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. The family will be present at 10:15 A.M. at the church to receive relatives and friends. Flowers gratefully declined.
