Frank P. Mirabelli, 86, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Rocco Mirabelli and the late Elizabeth (DeLorenzo) Pavone.

Frank was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls and Lewiston area. He graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1947 and attended the University of Buffalo. On July 15, 1950 he married Margaret L. (DiCesare) Mirabelli at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls. Frank started Mirabelli Plastering Corporation with his father, which he owned and operated for sixty seven years until his retirement in 2013. Frank was a board member and former president of the Niagara Falls Builders Association and served as chairman of the pension fund. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston where he also served as a member of the parish council and building committee. Frank was also a member of the Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown, NY and the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston, NY. Above all, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who cherished spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife of sixty five years, Mr. Mirabelli is survived by his three daughters, Deborah (Nels) Magnuson of Manlius, NY, Sandra Mirabelli, and Candice Duffy both of Lewiston, NY; four grandchildren, Marina (Sean) Wikner, Eric Magnuson, Matthew Duffy and Margaret Duffy; one great-grandson, Logan Frank Wikner and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday January 15th at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's RC Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
