Dr. Frank A. Pallone passed away peacefully on Sunday October 21, 2018 surrounded by those that loved him most. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 4, 1932 to Frank and Mary Pallone. He was a cadet at Stella Niagara Seminary for grade school and graduated Bishop Duffy High School in 1950, where he was active on the Debate Team and Glee Club. He then attended Georgetown University in 1950 and graduated in 1957 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He set up practice on 3 ^rd and Main Street in Niagara Falls, where he practiced dentistry for 58 years. Frank married Darlene Stecko on October 5 ^th , 1957 and raised four children in Lewiston, NY. Frank was known for having an incredible work ethic, instilled in him by his father, and was a wonderful provider for those he loved. He often said, "If it's going to be, it's up to me." Frank loved to go to work every day and was passionate about dentistry. He was energized by people and could often be found "shooting the bull" with his patients in the chair. He was a member of the 8 ^th District Dental Society, Niagara County Dental Society, NYS Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter RC Church in Lewiston as well as active in the Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent De Paul Society.

Frank had a great appreciation for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. For fun, he bought a farm where he diligently cared for his many exotic animals and birds.  He planted a huge vegetable garden which he used for his passion for cooking. He could often be found cooking hundreds of chicken wings after a high school football game. He enjoyed music, singing, playing the piano, and listening to Italian opera. He travelled to many National Parks and to numerous countries in Europe with friends and family.  He valued learning new things and was always up for an adventure. He had a joy for life, happiest when surrounded by family, listening to the laughter and stories of his children and grandchildren.

Frank will be forever remembered by his three children, Frank A. (Kim) Pallone III, Maria (Anthony) Sorosky, Dr. Margaret O'Keefe, and his wife Marta Torres. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Stephen (Amanda) Pallone, Lara Pallone, Rachael (Sam) Reyna, Nicholas Sorosky, Joshua (Kelsey) Sorosky, Hannah Sorosky, Claire Sorosky, Kristen McGahan, Michelle McGahan, Michael McGahan, Ryan O'Keefe, Colin O'Keefe, Connor O'Keefe, Caitlyn O'Keefe, and Elizabeth O'Keefe. Also, by his great-grandchildren, Bryson and Travis Pallone, his brother James (Irma) Pallone, his former wife Darlene Pallone and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his daughter Anne McGahan.

In the last few years, Frank was blessed by many special caregivers who provided extraordinary care and became like extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday October 27 ^th at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church 620 Center St. Lewiston, NY.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.   Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
