Frank J. Pannozzo, 83, of Lewiston, NY died on Monday January 12, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Angelo and Filomena Pannozzo. He married Carol M. (neeRommel) (McNally) Pannozzo on October 2, 2004 at Concordia Lutheran Church.

Frank was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. Frank co-owned and operated the former Frenchy's Grill and Frenchy's Clifton Lounge both located in Niagara Falls, and later owned and operated the Franklin Inn in Wheatfield, NY. Frank's training and experience as a construction engineer was the basis for his work later on as the Facilities Director at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, NY for twenty eight years. He also worked as a construction engineer with the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and the Niagara Falls Water Authority. Frank was passionate about politics and currently served as the chairman of the City of Niagara Falls Republican Committee. He was also a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Peter's Church in Lewiston, NY.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Pannozzo is survived by four step-children; Jack (Kathryn) McNally of Niagara Falls, NY; Caryn (Matthew) Sharpe of Youngstown, NY; Kathleen McNally and Randy (Kim) McNally both of Niagara Falls, NY; nine step-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, one sister Mary (William "Bill") Schmitt of Stuart, FL; his nieces and nephews Anthony (Jackie) Pannozzo of Lewiston, NY; Philomena (late Charles) Gant of Iowa Park, TX; Anthony Pantona of Farmington Hills, MI; Ann Marie London of Arizona; Phyllis Pantona of Rocky River, OH; Teresa (David) Korzak of Clarence, NY; his great-nieces and great-nephews Gina, Chris (Ida), Anthony, Michael, Alison, Michelle (Bobby), David, Michael and Daniel, six great-great-nieces and nephews, several cousins and his dear friends Vince and Marolyn Corriere. He was also predeceased by one brother Emilio (late Antoinette "Nellie") Pannozzo, one sister Yolanda (late Joseph) DeGennaro, one great-niece Maryann and one great- nephew Robert.

Friends may call on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 17th at 9:00 a.m. in St. Peter's R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Rev. Sebastian Pierro officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
