Frank Ricotta, 89 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on December 22, 2021 at his residence under the care of Niagara Hospice surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Felix and Margherita (Forgione) Ricotta

Frank was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools.  He served in the US Army from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1954.  On July 12, 1958, Frank married Joanne P. (Peschell) Ricotta.  He was employed for 36 years as an Electrician for the Niagara Falls Board of Education retiring in 1994. Frank enjoyed going to the annual Ashland Avenue Reunions and friendships from his Military service.  Above all he enjoyed spending time with family and his dog Bailey.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Frank is survived by his children, Michael Ricotta, Anthony Ricotta, Philip Ricotta, Frank Ricotta, Patricia Ricotta and Maria DeBenedetto; his grandchildren, Michael (Natale) Ricotta, Nicholas Ricotta, Andrew Husted, Marisa Ricotta, Matthew  Ricotta, Audrey Ricotta, Teresa Ricotta, Gianna Ricotta and Malore Garabedian; two great grandchildren, Adrianna and Karter; siblings, Mario (late Anne) Ricotta and Jean (Al) Marra and  as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.   Frank was predeceased one brother Anthony (Gloria) Ricotta.

Visitation will be on Tuesday December 28 from 10 - 12 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 12 Noon.
