Frederick "Rick" G. Collier, 67, of Niagara Falls, passed away October 16, 2021 at his lifelong home.  Born on July 7, 1954, he was the son of the late Frederick "Bud" and Grace (Olson) Collier.

Rick was an only child, but grew up surrounded by cousins, friends and beloved dogs in his LaSalle neighborhood. Rick attended local schools graduating from LaSalle Senior High class of 1972. He began his career as a chemical operator at OLIN and was employed by FMC/PROXY Chemical, retiring in 2019.

Rick had a passion for sports; he played and coached baseball, played hockey and golf. He was adored by his daughters and grandchildren who lovingly knew him as cool "Papa Ricky". Aside from his family, Rick's greatest love was dogs. He rescued many throughout his life, most recently Macy, who was his companion for walks and car rides for their favorite ice cream.

Rick is survived by his wife Judy (Fournier) Collier, his daughters, Rachel Collier and Laura (Michael Villella); grandchildren, Ava, Vincenzo and Valentina Villella, Chance and Adrianna Centofanti, and Ari Vails, and a stepdaughter, Stephanie Oddo and her children Bryanica (Sofia Rose), Alyssa, Julia and Syncere. In addition to his parents, Rick was predeceased by his grandson, Evan.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation, which will be held on Sunday, October 24 at 12 Noon at Riverside Presbyterian Church, 815 84 ^th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, 14304, where funeral services will be held at 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rick's Memory to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Arrangements by M.J.
