Gabrielle M. "Gail" (Goupil) Miesko, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday December 19, 2008 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late David and Leontine (Turcotte) Goupil.

Gail was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. On December 27, 1952 she married Donald Miesko at Prince of Peace Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She was a self employed cosmetologist and worked in a salon in her home. She was later employed as a dental assistant for Dr. Posener in Niagara Falls and retired in 1997. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Mother's Club when her children were young. Gail enjoyed gardening and reading but most of all her life was centered on her family.

In addition to her husband of fifty five years she is survived by two daughters Terre (Mark) Olenick of Niagara Falls, NY and Cynthia Cruise of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren Joe, Jason, Jon, Elijah, Allison, Sam, Michael and Faith and several nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Joseph (late Anne) Goupil.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS NY where funeral services will begin on Monday December 22nd at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert Hughson officiating.
