Gail 'Gayle' Elizabeth DiLaura, 64, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY following a sudden illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert Sprague.

Gail was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, attended local schools, graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. She was employed as an office clerk for the U.S. Government Immigration and Naturalization Services in Buffalo, NY. Gail's favorite pastimes were playing cards and completing crossword puzzles.

Gail is survived by two children Kathleen L. Nation and Kevin R. Nation both of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren Brianna L., Remi J., Mitchell J. and Daniel J. Nation; one sister Diane Sprague Pitts of St. Louis, MO; one brother Douglas 'Jack' Sprague of Santa Fe, NM; her former husbands Joey DiLaura and John (Bonnie) Nation; her dear friends Sharon, Bonnie, Caroline, Denise and Michael and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday October 15th from Noon – 1 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Robert Fink officiating.
