Gail V. Foreman, 80, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 30, 2026, in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Helen (Zasucha) Jakubowski.

Gail loved holidays, family gatherings and any excuse for home baked cookies, cakes and barbecues. She was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. She enjoyed flower gardening and anything Disney, and spent many winters snow-birding in Florida entertaining family and close friends. She adored her morkie, Abbey who was named after her favorite band, The Beatles. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was affectionately known to many as "Grandma Squeak.”

Gail was married to John “Bill” W. Foreman for over fifty years who predeceased her on April 4, 2019. Gail is survived by her four children, Jennifer (Todd) Taylor, Scott (Deborah) Foreman, Christopher (Erica) Foreman, and Virginia (Christopher) McAuliffe. She was blessed with eight grandchildren: Alexandria (Brad) Feor, Christian Givan, Alana Foreman, Ariana Foreman, Jack Foreman, Cole Foreman, Daphne McAuliffe, and Eliot McAuliffe and one great granddaughter, Maisy Virginia Feor. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Connie) (late Lillian) Jakubowski. She is blessed with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gail was a graduate of Stella Niagara High School. She was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education for over 25 years, and served the majority of her career as a Teacher’s Aide in various elementary and high schools throughout Niagara Falls until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was very active in her children’s school activities—band boosters, concession stands, plays, and performances.

A Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility, 5285 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY 14092.
