On December 28th, 2023 Jesus opened his arms and welcomed Gail Noreen Trunzo, after a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on July 20th, 1944, to the late Pearl and Donald Lilly, she was a graduate of LaSalle Senior High School. She met the love of her life, Gerald C. Trunzo in 1959. After 3 years of dating, they were married and stayed happily married for the past 61 ½ years. Together they raised 4 beautiful children.

Gail loved music and dancing. Her and her husband, Jerry, would dance throughout parks, restaurants, dance halls and especially loved being at Joey's Place.

Gail was a longtime member of the Amherst Dance Club, White Falcons Social Club and the Queen City Jazz Society. She was also a co-group leader of the Niagara Golden Stars, where her and Jerry, ran over 20 bus trips throughout the years.

In addition to her beloved husband, Gail is survived by her four gracious children, Gerald Jr. (Richie Isaacs) Trunzo, John Trunzo, Lisa Trunzo-Pariso and Jeffrey (Erin) Trunzo; 7 grandchildren, Johnathan (Kimmie) Trunzo, Leanna (Ryan) Elia, Tyler (Jenica) Trunzo, Emily Trunzo, Anthony (Andreah) Pariso, Jeffrey (Savannah) Trunzo, Jr. and Lila (Cade) Mangan; 9 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara (Doug) Crocker, Colleen (late Ronald) Batley and Donald Lilly; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Christopher and Aileen Trunzo; her sister, Madelon (late Bill) Laughlin; sister-in-law, Patricia Shahin and her precious niece, Michelle (Batley) Eichler.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2 from 2 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Gail's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
